I am running into a problem when I go to open Word, OneNote, or Outlook. They all three crash at the splash screen.
I found my way to the associated event logs, and the Word and Outlook logs have one thing in common. They both describe an error at igd10umd32.dll.
This file should be located in /Windows/system32, but it is not. There IS a file named igd10umd64, however.
At any rate, I'm pretty stuck on how to fix this problem. Looking around online seems to point to this being an issue with my Intel HD 3000 driver, but I've updated to the most recent one, and the problem is still occurring.
Can anyone help with this? I'd really appreciate the assistance.

Just reinstall Office, or run its Repair option from disc..
