hi guys
i just installed the new gtx 670(evga). my card reaches 82C when playing crysis warhead at max settings(everything max AA 16xQ) except vsync. is it ok for it to touch the 80s???

Actually, I'd start worrying if he were achieving those temps WITH full (80%) fan speed...
Don't remember how hot my 670 got when I last played Crysis, but I hit about 70C on BF3 overclocked, on 60% fan speed.

Well Evga isn't much friendly to Cooling :lol: Look at that card, No Fans. :na:
So thats Nice temp for that GPU.

But I'd say use MSI Afterburner and control your Fan speed.

my current case is a smaller one... so the air flow is a bit bad.. got my new case CM HAF 912 just today... so going to install in it tomorrow. :D and btw guys my current psu is huntkey 650w titan. 18A on 12v rail.. my proccy is i5-760 stock. is the psu ok?

I too live in India, but the Temp outside doesn't effect much. Well its Winter :sol:

Install MSI Afterburner
Enable On screen Display

Play games and Then check these things:

GPU Temp:
GPU Usage:
GPU Fan Speed:

i checked with evga precision :p and yeah i will try the fan control with msi afterburner and share here :)

changed the fan curve in precision and now the temps dont go beyond 68C :D bf3 touches 65C at full load and 75% fan speed and warhead touches 68C at full load and at 80% fan speed... are these readings ok?
 


Sounds about normal for those fan settings, you should be fine :) enjoy!
