Hard Drive Help?

Hi! I am building my new PC, and I was thinking about this. I have a 640GB 2.5" Hard drive from my old hard drive that would have Windows 7 on it. I was wondering if I could use that, then transer the Windows files into my 1TB storage drive. That would save me $116! (money I could put into like more RAM, or even an SSD!)

What do you mean by "transfer the Windows files...."? Are you wanting to use your old hard drive as the new boot drive? If so, i'd still do a clean install of the OS since you have new hardware components.
