[Display Question] H-IPS vs PLS monitors

Hello,

I have a question regarding which display to purchase for myself. I am current trying to decide between two different monitors with 2560x1440 res (I would go 2560x1600 but can't justify paying $1200 for a monitor, eventhough I prefer 16x10 monitors more than 16x9). I am trying to decide between to two below....

I have a max budget of $700 to spend on a monitor and am willing to take other suggestions to get the best bang for my buck. I have read multiple times online that once you try one of these ultra high resolution monitors you won't be able to go back to standard 1080p screens again. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

No replies yet. Maybe I posted my question in the wrong section of the forums. If I did, can somebody tell me where I should post my question? I thought that this section was for Graphics & Displays, but the only questions I seem to see revolve around Graphics cards.
