Trying to Build an Economic Rendering Laptop

Howdy everybody! Thanks for taking the time to read this! I'm an Animation student, and I'm trying to put together a reasonably priced laptop for 3D rendering and gaming. I really have no idea where to start, but I have around $1500 to spend on it. I don't really have the technical know-how to build it myself, so I'm assuming my best bet would either be a custom computer builder or one of the larger brands. Any suggestions for brands, tips on where to buy it, etc? Thanks!

you can put together desktops but not laptops...laptop parts do not have standard specifications except the hard drive, ram and processor

for best bang for the buck i would recommend building a desktop and you can upgrade it down the road. if you go with a laptop yes its portable but you cant upgrade them

I made you a desktop parts list you can use since I'm waiting for my class to end lol anyways I went with an 8 core amd and two 10k rpm drives in raid 0 since you will be doing 3d rendering
