Hi, I'm planning to buy a sb audigy player. Before, I should know if it'll work on my abit kt7a-raid mobo (because there were many problems with sb live cards on that mobo as I heard).

Has anybody already made experiences with this config?

Thanks for your answers!

It will most likely work ok, but I recommend against it because Creative's drivers have never been very good.

Most of the drivers post on Creative's web site are Microsoft WHQL-certified drivers. Why so many people have troble with them? I throught a Microsoft WHQL-certified driver has pass rigorous tests and should be high quality driver.

You'd think that was the case, but apparently it isn't.

You might want to look at this FAQ if you get problems:
<A HREF="http://www.viahardware.com/faq/kt7/kt7faq.htm" target="_new">http://www.viahardware.com/faq/kt7/kt7faq.htm</A>.

My case has so many fans that it hovers above the ground  .

yeah i use to have a sblive, then i got a system with via based chipset, i got crackling and popings, went out tried an audigy, same problem. Then switched to santa cruz, every problem went away, a savior.
