OK, this is a call out for help! I just bought a digital camera that takes Secure Digital media. I can't seem to find anywhere that tells me what the differences between brands and prices are. I _know_ in my little heart of hearts that all the brands are not created equal, and I even found a couple places that sell "high speed" secure digital memory cards. What does that mean? Will the high speed ones help me? Are they worth it? What's the scoop?
Would the guys at Tom's Hardware Guide do one of their famous review/test/comparison/benchmarks on secure digital memory (and the other types of compact flash) cards? That would be greatly appreciated and would be (I think) a first for this media.
...settle down man it's going to be alright. Stop with all the drama. Sandisc and panasonic make the best sd cards but if it is just for a digital camera don't worry about it go out and buy the cheapest one you can find. If you are going to be running your pda off of it you need fast memory but you will not notice a differance with just a camera. You could go out and buy a multimedia card instead and save some money too.
Treat your body like a $600 car. God didn't intend it to last so use it. Run it into the ground!
