Hi I will be receiving all my parts in the next few days including my Sapphire HD Radeon 7850 1g. This will be my first build so I do not know what drivers I need to download for my gpu. I have watched the newegg videos and they said it said I can either go to amd or sapphire for the downloads. I checked both and the amd website is showing only catalyst display drivers while the Sapphire site has more downloads.

AMD Drivers
Sapphire Drivers

If anyone can point out what drivers I need I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

The rest of my build:

Hi. Both websites provide the same files for download if you look closely. You'll need to download and install the Catalyst Software Suite and the .NET Framework 4 from Microsoft. The latest release candidate of CSS is 12.10 while the 12.11 Beta is there if you really need it for some reason. The next release candidate 12.12 (year.month) should be released soon. I suggest that you choose custom installation to select the features that suit your needs. Since you're running a single graphics card, you won't need the Catalyst Application Profiles. If you use a single monitor, you don't need the HydraVision Package. If I'm not mistaken, the Media Codec Package is included in the Catalyst Software Suite.

Install the Catalyst Application Profile if you need the latest fixes and performance improvements. But if you're unwilling or unable to keep up with frequent CAP updates and have no (urgent) need for them, they will be included in the next Catalyst Software Suite release.

Would I need to install 12.11 in order to run CAP or is 12.10 fine?

Thank you for your replies. Does it matter which .net framework I download because there are 3 for desktop.
