Hey guys, Ive recently figured out what was wrong with my second 7870 thanks to you guys... Had it replaced. Now i seem to be receiving less performance then running 1 card... in bf3. Ive been told its my PSU, ive replaced my mother board, My faulty card. The cards run at 75+% usage when in normal area's of maps... (70-100fps) but as soon as things get busy/open i can go down to 40's sometimes 30's especially on Golf of Oman... The weird thing is that the second card seems to be working, But only in area's that the first card would easily run... For instance if i was in an area on wake island where i get 60-70fps constantly. I would now get 90-130fps... BUT when in area's where i actually need the card... It will drop down to LESS the ONE card by itself... Like 35fps in GOLF... Which NEVER happened with 1 card.... I know both the cards are running well and brand new. Ive been led to believe the reason they wont hit the high usage for the area's that need it, Might be because my 650w PSU is crap.... But what i need to know before i replace it. Is if it will actually make a difference... Because with ONE card in the exact same thing happens... and im sure my PSU is enough to run ONE 7870.... Ity will sit at 99% constantly... But like before, Anytime my fps drops due to the open area's my usage drops aswel.... This is leading me to believe that it might no be the psu because 1 card should be easy enough for it to run.... Anyways please throw some suggestions, Cant wait to get my new psu if thats the case !
