Only things I would change are no 2TB drive, get a couple or four and put them in raid-faster access and data protection, I have a 4 drive raid 10. Get rid of WIN8 in favor of WIN7. Just a preference to ensure all drivers are available and for program compatibility.

Just my personal preferences, what you got will do just fine.

perfect build. but yeah, I'd go Windows 7 over 8. No benefits to going 8. poor Windows. ...yet again.

I have three VH242H for rendering and extreme gaming

Would i need an external RAID controller for having my hard drives in RAID-10?

I chose windows 8 because it uses less RAM i am just going to disable the live tiles and other crap and re-enable the start menu so it will be like windows 7 but it runs better.


What size hard drives did you use for your RAID system?


Lastly, will my PSU be enough if i want to overclock my CPU to 4.0GHZ?
