Hello,

I'm a first time builder, and am experiencing problems with my recently built system. So here it goes..

My PC won't boot past the Windows(7) logo screen. Like it would just freeze after the glowing animation of the logo. It first started when I did a hard reset, after it froze during a YouTube clip.

I am able to access my BIOS and safe mode. I have also tried system repair to no avail. I am now out of options as I franticly search Google for answers. But I wonder wether its a driver conflict; as I installed Windows(OEM) on a used HDD, over an old copy of Windows, without formatting. Please help this noob out;)

Specs:
Gigabyte H77 D3H-MVP
Intel i3 3220
HIS Radeon HD 7770
Corsair 4GB DDR3 Memory
WD Black 1TB
ThermalTake 500W PSU

Solution
Go into safe mode and uninstall the graphics driver. If you are able to get into windows after that download and install the latest version.
