310.70 GTX 680 DRIVER ISSUE!

December 18, 2012 7:17:08 PM

Ok so Ive done some testing with this new driver. I uninstalled alot of games and kept wow and I uninstalled driver, played wow without it and it was fine. Now I install the 310.70 WHQL DRIVER BETA and it supposivly is an essential upgrade for gamers but it causes bad stuttering when moving in world of warcraft. It definently helped in other games but in world of warcraft its bad. I dont know if this is a driver issue.

My Specs

Graphics: GTX 680 Superclocked Signature Edition 2GB
CPU: Intel i7 2600K @3.40GHZ
RAM: 4 x 4GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE 1600 (BLUE COLOR)

There is one thing im doing to my monitor. Im wondering, I have an FLATRON W2353VP LG MONITOR it shuts on and off randomly and sometimes has screen tears. Im not sure if this is because the GTX 680 OVERPOWERS it in FPS? It is at 60HZ and is plugged in through HDMI cable. I just bought a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... BEN Q MONITOR 120HZ. It will be coming soon and im going to connect it through Dual DvI cable so not entirely sure if this will help. I would like to know if there is a big difference between 60HZ AND 120HZ.

Sincerely, Andrew Anderson
