New System Build Question

Hi folks,

I am building a new rig with the following parts:

Fx8350
ASUS M5A987 LE MOBO
Powercolor HD Radeon 7850 2GB GPU
16gb GEIL Evo Veloce Series 1600 ram
OCZ Max Iops 120gb SSD
Antec 650 Watt Modular PSU

Firstly, I have a question about the GPU and MOBO. I have read that current PCI Express 3.0 cards aren't currently saturating PCI express 2.0 lanes (like the one on this mobo), is this still true? If it is true, then would me adding a second card in CrossfireX mode down the road bog down this system, or would it be fine?

Secondly, what do you think of what I have chosen and what changes could I make to improve the system without adding cost. I chose the ram based on its current price on Newegg.

8gb of ram is currently more than enough and you can always grab more later
I would look into getting a gigabyte motherboard over a ASUS one but more a personal preference in VRM

For crossfire you want a board with 2 pcie2.0x16 slots or at least x8 slots
This board only has a x16 and a x4
