Will my processor bottleneck my graphics?

So I'm thinking I want a radeon 7850 but my processor is a Intel Core i3-3220 Ivy Bridge 3.3GHz and I was wondering if this is too strong a card for it.

No, i3-3220 will not bottleneck it. Hell, even if you bought GTX 680 I wouldn't say you needed a more powerful CPU.

nope they are well matched. your cpu is more than good enough even for a hd7970
