Hello everyone:
I have a Palm VIIx and I am having problems with running a Hotsync. I
am running Windows XP running on a Dell laptop and everytime I try and
sync my palm it freezes up in the middle of syncing. I have e-mailed
Palm and Belkin (which is the manufacturer of the serial to USB
convertor) and the only answers they had were the following: ungrade
the software, change COM ports and slow down the sync speed. I have
tried all of those solutions and I am still unable to sync.
Does anyone have any solutions? Thank you very much for your help.

This is the problem with laptops that are minus USB ports. You need to
run these converters which in soem cases are nothing but hassles.
I have a Palm VIIx connected to a machine with a real serial port and
have almost never had a problem with Hotsync.
I have e-mailed
