OK, I've got a really strange mouse problem that's got me stumpted. When I am moving the mouse, the cursor will sometimes randomly jump to a different part of the screen. I have tried updating both my mouse and motherboard drivers. It is not a problem with the mouse itself, since I tried a differnt one and am getting the same problem. I am running windows XP SP1, a plain logitech optical wheel mouse and an Asus A7N8X Deluxe board. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks

I have the same problem. I have an Acer Computer and have tried an Intelli Explorer USB mouse, a Memorex Serial Mouse and now I have a new USB Logitech Optical Wheel Mouse. They are all jittery and jumpy, making it hard to point to anything. I've tried everything that has been suggested, but nothing works. I read somewhere that a video driver is the problem. Am still checking this idea out.
