but both builds are bizarre when you spend way more on a keyboard than you do on a case

If you are going for a budget build under $1000 then you should go for AMD if it is over $1000 Then you should go for intel.

1) Get a better case like Fractal Design Define R4, better cooling and quite and looks awesome.

2)Get a keyboard with a reasonable price. If you want mechanical then get something that if fully mechanical or just get a normal gaming keyboard that doesn't cost much.

3) Drop that mobo and grab MSI Z77A-G45 for less from Amazon if you're in the states.

4) Stick with Intel
