Hey Guys I just bought a Sony DVD drive (16X model ddu 1621). I'm using a GeForce 2 TI 64 Mb DDR (Visiontek) video card with S-Video out. I can't seem to play my DVDs on my TV. I'm using both Power DVD and InterActive players. They both won't play the movies on the TV. Any solutions would be appreciated. Thanks!

have you an error message or something else... when you try to play DVD ?

if you know you don't know, the way could be more easy.

i'm having the same problem. i've got a leadtek geforce ddr card with tv-out. it comes with a splitter cable that has s-video and composite video connections. i have a really old tv and am trying to get it to show up on my vcr through the aux channel. of course i've changed the display settings to 800x600x16bit color so that i can get the tv-out function to work. i connect the comp. video line to the video-in port on the back of my vcr and change the channel to aux. then i try to change the settings on my computer to switch it so the tv is the output device. but it never seems to work. there are little icons that show the tv crossed out but not the comp. monitor. i can't even get the desktop to show up on my tv. is there something that i'm missing? are there websites that have a walkthrough or something?

I think that not all DVD Playback programs will support TV out.
On most cards the TV out picture will not display things coming from the Video OverLay and most DVD playback programs are using the OverLay to speed up and impruve the picture quality.
