More about will system good
  1. you will do good with that setup. but, just to make sure that we can help you get the best out of your system, could you let us know your budget and which parts you will get from your friend and which you will buy new
  2. You do not need an 850 watt psu . As it is it will run on a 500 watt unit , and a 650 watt psu will run a crossfire set up .
More than that is wasted money

The cpu cooler is a very old model and is OK
But something like the Xigmatek Gaia is far better and only $20 at Newegg

consier windows 8 . Lots of small improvements . And a much better license that means you can transfer it from one pc to another and not have to buy a new OS which you do with 7 oem.
    Make sure its 64 bit
  3. It's good, but I have one curious question. Is the brand of the 7950 actually AMD? Like, OEM?
