Hello,

I have enabled WoL (BIOS, NIC enabled). Option for Wake only on Magic Packet enabled. This has stopped working recently and I cannot figure out why.

I see the Magic Packet on my subnet (for instance when I try to Wake my Media Center PC from my XBox) - but the PC does not wake from Sleep.

I've looked through all the settings I can find (advanced on NIC - all Wake on options are enabled, BIOS etc.) I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the NIC driver (just in case) and I've ensured that the BIOS is the latest version.

Any suggestions?

Check your sleep state and Windows power options

Hi, Did you ever get a solution to this issue? I had the exact same thing. I had WOL running fine for a year on my computer and then about 5 days after I installed an additional internal HDD, it just stopped responding to magic packets.

They are definitely coming through as I can see them with a packet sniffer when my computer is turned on. All settings in my bios and in windows are set correctly (Exactly as they had been up to the point it stopped working).

Can't figure out what else it could be. Any suggestions would be very helpful!
