Hi all,
I just got my tax return back and with the money I am going to upgrade my pc. I am a huge gamer and I’m currently playing Guild Wars 2, Far Cry 3, Black ops 2, Battlefield 3, and soon to be Bioshock infinite, Metro Last Light, and Sim City. I don’t want to spend more than $2000 and if I can even hit $1500 or less that would be great. I was hoping I would get some feedback for what I plan on putting in it or possibly ideas of ways to make it cheaper without reducing too much performance and I also want to make sure it is future proof.

I currently have only a couple of parts I am keeping in my system.

I have a Themaltake Black Widow power supply,

OCZ Agility 3 60GB SATA III SSD (for windows only),

So that is what I have so far and the list bellow is what I plan on buying.

2x Western Digital Black 7200RPM HD (RAID 0) $99.99each,

Corsair H100i Hydro series water cooler $109.99,

2x MSI Lightning GTX 680 (SLI) $499.99each,

So that is it… all together its about $1900 including tax. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
Thanks a lot

If you are only a gamer, i suggest dropping to a 3570k for a bit of extra cash saved and to 8gb of 1600mhz ram. Also, just get one 680? A single 680 will run any game on ultra and then your wont have any microstuttering issuees. If you find your games are up to speed, get another 680. You will only play at 60 fps as your will want to use vsync with your moniter. Just my suggestion but it is an excellent build otherwise.
