Help installing a new vid card. Nvidia 650

So I brought a new vid card home from the states for my brother.
I got a msi 650 OC version 1gb for him.

He´s got this setup running currently:
ASRock H61M-HVS
Intel Pentium G630
8gb gskill
Sentey p650-OR (power supply)

So, when running the onboard video card and, works fine. But when I put in the video card (with the 6pin power and VGA cable attached) it just black screens. I am guessing there is no signal coming thru.
I am wondering if I dont have enough power for the card (i realise it is not that good of a power supply but it is what I got and I need to work with it.)

What trouble shooting can I do to figure out what is wrong with it/ or anyone got any insight on what is going on here??
