Anyone know details about the Geforce2 Ti VX ? I ran accross a few cards now listed on pricewatch. They were the same price as the standard Geforce2 Ti MX cards, so maybe this is just Nvidia playing the name game again, like with the Mx400 and the original MX cards.

Doesn't Nvidia have enough flavors of Geforce2 Cards already? Let me list the cards. Lets see...

Mx200,Mx400,Mx,GTS,PRO,Ti Mx,GTS Ultra and now the Ti VX.

Almost all these have 32mb and 64mb versions, with or without TV-Out/DVI/TUNER. Not to mention there are at least 10 manufacturers making each model with different implementations. Someone stop the Insanity!

With the Geforce4 coming soon, this just adds more confusion to my search for a new video card.
I digress....

If anyone has any information on the new Geforce2 TI VX cards, please let me know. I can't find any information on the web. I did find a Chinese website that has pictures posted, so you can all know that I'm not insane(j/k)

I did some more research, and from MSI's website:
http://www.msicomputer.com/product/vga/vga_detail/ms885...
They list the VX model as having 225 mhz core clock speed. A normal Geforce2 Ti has a core clock of 250mhz. Maybe this is just a "Value" edition. Another attempt to capture more market-share and confuse the consumer. I think I'll just buy an ATI card.
