Can my computer use a HD 6670?

I have an Acer Aspire X3300 with a 220W ATX power supply from Delta ( http://www.globaltekoutlet.com/Delta-Electronics-220watt-Atx-Power-Supply-DPS-2-p/dps220uba.htm )
And i was also wondering if it would fit into my pc

More about computer 6670
  1. you need to upgrade your PSU bcoz its just 14A@+12V not sufficient and HD6670 is GDDR3/GDDR5 which one.
  2. Simu is right. Your power supply will not be able to power the system up if you get a discrete graphics card.
  3. you psu could power the radeon 6450 though but you will have to make do with low settings
  4. No, it could not.
  5. i was planning to get the GDDR3 one - http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/sapphire-amd-radeon-hd-6670-pci-e-graphics-card-2-gb-14828396-pdt.html and which power supply should i get that could run the hd 6670 and fit in my pc?
  6. Pictures of inside of your PC? Since you provided none, we cannot really tell you which will fit in it!
  7. i would recommend corsair cx430 v2, if your cab. is mid tower.
  8. nice choice indeed he needs a powersupply compatible with that case and lowprofile gpu, +1 to suni
  9. are you sure that power supply unit can work in my pc? the socket for the power cable is on the left on my case
  10. This is the best low profile card within budget, if you get this you won't have to upgrade your psu also.

  11. However the corsair cx 430 is only $25 after mir so it is better to be safe then sorry.

    :pfff: :pfff: :pfff:

He will have to upgrade the power supply regardless of which card he chooses. 220w IS NOT enough for a discrete graphics card.

Well, you can always measure your power supply dimensions and compare it to the one I have suggested.
  14. +1 for sunius recommandation or else hed need to change case and get a regular atx powersupply more money than its worth tbh.
  15. No i was more worried about the socket on the PSU which the cable goes into as the socket on my case is on the left while the socket on the psu you recommended is on the right
  16. You can just rotate the cable, can't you? :).
  17. my current psu's dimensions are: W=8cm H=5cm D=20cm and the Be Quiet TFX Power 300W Small FF PSU's height is 2cm taller will it stil be able to fit?
  18. sorry for not replying in a while btw :P
  19. dimensions of the acer case u have:

    265 (H) x 352 (D) x 100 (W) mm (with bezel)

    and power supply is:

    85 x 70 x 177 mm.

i think it should work :) but id ask a second opinion
  20. Probably not, I'm glad you checked. You could go for this power supply unit instead:
