Outlander's post is pretty good. I used a wattage calculator, and it came out to be 730 watts, without your extra case fans. With a 750 watt PSU, you would be cutting it close.

XFX makes good PSU's and it could handle it without issue, but I wouldn't overclock anything.

If you already have your computer together you have a tough decision to make. If you still have the PSU new in box, I would return it for their 850 watt PSU.

Thanx
I already have my xfx 750w installed. I did not count on getting a 2nd hd7970c so quick as this was my xmas new build from santa. :)

I wanted that name :(
Thanx for that. So would oc be out of the question. I suppose with 2 hd7970c's windforce i would not need to oc. I have 1 hd7970c in my build which has the latest driver on it. My question would be when adding the other hd7970 for xfire would i still have to wipe the driver first then update both together with amd catalyst. I enjoyed ths build but things are getting tricky for me adding the 2nd card. I ready somewhere i need to download driver to desktop, wipe driver on the card then go in with driver sweeper to make sure all files are wiped. Unsure about using 1 or 2 xfire bridges, apply driver, make sure xfire is enabled then wipe the sweat from my forehead phew & reboot.

Looking forward to this reply.
