500 dollar build help

Is this solid for 500? Any room for improvement or way to cut a little cost without sacrificing any performance?

Will this run most games on medium settings in 720p Resolution?

  1. That looks like a great budget build. The 7850 will probably max out games at 720p.

I recommend trying to get an extra $30 and get a 212 EVO cpu cooler. The stock cooler on the 965 is pretty loud.

If you get a cpu cooler, you need low profile RAM like this.

Other than that, you should be set.
