Multi Player Games

Hi
I was wondering if anyone could help with Windows XP and problems playing
multi player games eg Backgammon. I have tried most options but I am unable
to access multi player games. I have added ports, turned of the xp firewall
but to no avail.

If anyone could Help I would be most appreciatvie.

I am trying to play runescape, and it says i need to open ports 23594 and
23595, how would I go about doing this?

Are you trying to play online? (LAN play won't work with these games). What
kind of internet setup do you have? Is your computer behind a router, is is
it attached with a modem directly? Also do you have any firewall/internet
security software installed on your machine such as Norton, Mcafee etc.

Hi Paul

I have VET installed and the XP firewall which I have tried to access
zone.com after turning off the firewall with no success. This pc is on a
dialup connection and was working fine within the zone prior to installing xp.
