Hello,

I'm still playing/using on my computer, but time has come to change.. Indeed, my old Pentium 4, and my old Motherboard P5D1 (asus) - something like that- with the DDR1 is really blocking me, although a GPU GT440 PCI ex.

Now, I intend to change and make a new configuration.

Here is the features :
Budget : around 600-700 EUR => could increase it till 800 EUR if it's worth (like real investment for being safer after)
purpose : mainly playing
games : mainly World of warcraft and maybe BF3, Crysis
Evolutivity : Yes
Personnal requirement :
1- MB :I want a Ivy Bridge supprting MB
2- GPU : I don't want a high ranking GPU. A middle one, like the Radeon HD7850 as it seems its goes over the equivalent GTX for the same price.
3- Overclocking : really NOT my priority.
4- CPU : Intel - no AMD

The question is : Can I have your ideas/advice for such a configuration ?

Thanks a lot !

It would be easier if you gave us a link to shop where you are going to buy these parts.

Intel Core i5-3470 170€
ASRock H77 Pro4/MVP - 75€
2x4GB G.Skill Ares 1600MHz CL9-9-9-24 - 45€
Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB - 170€
Samsung SSD 840 120GB - 90€
Seagate Barracuda 7200 1000GB - 65€
Corsair Carbide Series 300R - 65€
Corsair Enthusiast Series TX650 V2 - 80€
Total: 760€

Where you can save some money? Cheaper case, no SSD, a 500-550W PSU.

Well, prices are more or less as I wrote before. At Amazon.fr I chose same parts (except for PSU - XFX Pro 550W) and total was 758,32 EUR.

Maybe someone else can suggest another rig, but I believe that these parts will make a nice PC.
