Can someone look over this build please.

Building this this week, and just had a couple questions about it. Does Anyone know if the Zalman case has pretty decent airflow?

Does the motherboard have the ability to let me overclock the phenom a little bit?

Would you guys change anything? I really cant go over 500 dollars.

More about build please
  1. You can overclock the Phenom but you will need an aftermarket CPU cooler like:

I would get a HDD from Western Digital or Seagate.

Other than that, it looks good.
  2. Is the Hitachi really that bad of a brand?
  3. Hitachi is not a bad brand. They are actually owned by Western Digital. I also recommend an aftermarket heatsink. You may not get any overclocking with that board though. You may need to spend more on your motherboard. Other than that, build looks solid.
  4. I have that motherboard in my HTPC with the 965be. It has an unlocked multiplier in the bios. Super easy to use to overclock.
  5. Really nice build, if you can get over $550. You should switch to an FX-6300.

Really nice as CPU for the money.
