I'm building a new PC for a friend on a tight budget, we've got everything picked out, but I'm struggling with a power supply for the system, I don't really know how much I need or what brand, all I know is i need 2x pci lol
anyway, this is the build thus far;
AMD FX 6300 @ 3.5GHZ
Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3
8gb DDR3 1600mhz Ram (eventually will have 32gb)
Sapphire HD 7850 2gb OC
Seagate barracuda 1Tb hdd
Samsung dvd-rw
Full ATX case
windows 8.

so all I really need is the PSU to suit it, and Anita extra for future upgrades.
I get most of my parts from (uk site) and I don't want to spend too much on a PSU, but not a cheap nasty brand either!
its mostly for gaming, such as skyrim, battlefield 3, and Rome 2 total war when it comes out!

also any comments on this system are welcome!

3 good brands: Corsair, Seasonic, PC Power and Cooling. I'd buy any of those that were on sale. 500-600 watts. 400 watts would suffice, but may limit your future computers. There are many good brands out there - these were 3 on the tip of my tongue.

Good Luck !!
