HELP!
I have always been interested in gaming but some reasons restricted me to do so. . .
but now i want to start with gaming, so i would be a total amature.
here are my computer specs:

proc : core 2 duo e7300 2.66ghz
mobo : DG35EC
ram : transcend 800mhz 4gb ddr2
hdd : 500gb seagate
integrated gfx :intel gma x3500 ( pf no use)

I want to know a good graphic card which would be letting me play bf3, cod black ops 2, far cry 3 etc. . .
according to my configuration ...which would be the best and would not be bottle necked by my cpu?
i know the pc is quite outdated but still i cant upgrade for atleast for a year.
Please tell me asap
thnx :D
Aahhhh and my psu is around 250 watts
i wont mind upgrading it to 450watts!

Solution
hey mate ,so ur resolution is 1440*900.n u r going to buy new psu also.i too had to buy new branded psu.local psu cant handle these cards.i would suggest u to buy only a branded psu (like corsair), not the local one.local psu have low voltage on +12V rail(which is very important).why r u buying a 550w psu? save that much of money and invest it on a better graphic card.i suggest u to buy http://www.flipkart.com/corsair-cmpsu-430cxv2uk-430-watts-psu/p/itmd5xz5qs9mhqmq?pid=PSUD5XZ4ZJ5YPGBU&ref=23b9a4fb-3dc1-42dc-9318-97d2f756d703 .its +12V rail current is 28A.
also for ur resolution, all the above card mentioned are good.but the best card for your pc is gtx 550 ti.hd 7750 is weaker than gtx 550 ti.get best when u r spending ur money .it...

hey mate,i also have the same specifications as of yours.only my psu was local brand of 400w.i recently changed my gt 430 with hd 7750 ddr5.but there was some problem with my hd 7750.so i sold it and brought new gtx 550 ti ddr5 card.i was afraid that my old processor would bottleneck with gtx 550 ti(my screen resolution is 1600*900).but the card is working absolutely amazing with my old rig.only i had to change my local psu(i bought corsair 430 watt psu ).n i am happy.
i am telling u all this because there is no bottlenecking between gtx 550 ti and core 2 duo e7300@2.66ghz.so u can choose minimum gtx 550 ti without any problem.you would have told us the resolution of ur monitor.higher resolution needs more powerful card.also mention ur budget.
if u upgrade ur psu,go for a good one that has higher current on +12 volt rail.i suggest you atleast http://www.flipkart.com/corsair-cmpsu-430cxv2uk-430-watts-psu/p/itmd5xz5qs9mhqmq?pid=PSUD5XZ4ZJ5YPGBU&ref=23b9a4fb-3dc1-42dc-9318-97d2f756d703
you can buy atleast gtx 550 ti or gtx 650 for upto 1600*900 resolution, leaving the tension of bottlenecking.you can check the benchmark for various cards here. higher value is better http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu_list.php
this will give u idea of ur card's performance.
before buying also check the current and voltage required for the card.u can check it here http://www.game-debate.com/hardware/index.php?gid=483&graphics=GeForce%20GTX%20550%20Ti
i dont know exactly whether any card powerfull than the above mentioned, will bottleneck or not.but the above cards will definitely work fine with ur rig(Using myself).
one more thing check whether ur motherboard has PCI Express or not before buying the card.So my suggestion is go for gtx 550 ti ddr5 atleast. Also buy ASUS brand.they make quality components.Good luck.

thnx fr the suggestion...so u r saying gtx 550ti or 7750. I may go for 7750 as its the only one for my price constraints. As 5770/6770 has gone old i am able to get it at 5k and 7750 is around 6.5k , so i may opt for 6770. And did u change ur psu after getting the card or alongwith the card??

also for ur resolution, all the above card mentioned are good.but the best card for your pc is gtx 550 ti.hd 7750 is weaker than gtx 550 ti.get best when u r spending ur money .it will run most of the games on high at ur resolution.(except some games like metro2033). check this card http://www.flipkart.com/asus-nvidia-geforce-gtx-550-ti-1-gb-gddr5-graphics-card/p/itmd2rynmzqksahw?pid=GRCD2RYNDVYHUVVG&ref=c8785237-5929-4297-a6f6-bb331a468e01&srno=t_1&otracker=from-search&query=asus%20nvidia%20geforce%20gtx%20550%20ti%201%20gb%20gddr5%20graphics%20card
ASUS DirectCU edition gtx 550(clock speed 915 MHz) ti is better and cooler than the standard one.also get DDR5 version only.
i can say this because i am practically using this configuration. but in the end all depends upon ur total budget.(psu+card).its better if u tell us ur maximum budget.so that we could find the best deal.
best of luck.
n one more thing,to play latest games like farcry3 at max resolution,u will require a card even better than gtx 550ti.

550 ti is barely better than 7750 actually weaker in dx11 games. not to mention it consumes much less power. so get the 7750. however since you are getting a branded psu as well you can also take a look at 7770.

thnx man, i actually dont want to play at ultra settings at all, the thing is i dont have a hd screen. I am just saving for ps3. I feel "games are made for ps3 and pc has to be upgraded accordin to new games"... so till the hackers get a crack for the new ps3 superslim, i will be on pc. :D :sol:
also i have finally decided..... GPU : amd 6770 (rs5000) and psu : http://www.flipkart.com/cooler-master-extreme-ii-525-watts-psu/p/itmdca6nnhwyyvuh?pid=PSUDCA6MKUB28TZZ&ref=82292729-97f0-40ee-81dd-6f12fac48b71 + 4gb ddr2 800mhz
