More about screen tearing
  1. I´d leave V-sync on, playing the games at lower setting.
  2. lower refresh rate to 60

If your system cant push the game past your refresh rate then when you have vsync on it has to try and reduce the frame rate to a multiple of your refresh rate. At 75 Im not sure what it would do. Maybe it would shoot for 25 or so. But if your PC isnt super then bring that refresh down to 60 and lower your settings til your game runs past 60 fps. That way vsync can "sync" the frames in the game to your refresh rate.
  4. I get screen tearing even though I can run it at 60+ fps.. I just leave the vsync on...
