Could someone help me? Looking to build a PC and wondered if this would all work

Hi there, I'm looking to build a cheap-ish gaming/video editing/Poss' Maya/3Dsmax work pc and wondered if this would all work together?
I'm looking to buy 2 of the Hard Drives. If anything wouldn't work could I have suggestions? Or suggestions for different builds? Any help would be a appreciated. Also would two of the Graphics cards work together/with the MoBo? I'm not looking to spend a tonne of money, about £600 is my price range.

Thanks! :D

  1. I think for £600 an FX-4100 would be incredibly sluggish on a video editing / rendering rig.

Here is what I would suggest:

    Memory: Mushkin Blackline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£41.99 @ Aria PC)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£57.59 @ Amazon UK)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 660 2GB Video Card (£161.98 @ Dabs)
Case: NZXT Source 210 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case (£31.18 @

A little bit more but you'll benefit far more from the added CUDA hardware acceleration that the GTX 660 provides.
