Okay, so I want a new computer. I want to build it myself because it will be a fun project. I will be using this computer for homework (Word) and games like skyrim, BF3 and Minecraft. So what I want to know is if it will all be compatible with each other such as if the MOBO will fit in the case, but also if anything is overkill, cause I am on a tight budget of around £500

Case http://www.amazon.co.uk/Zalman-Z9-Plus-Midi-Tower/dp/B0...

Power http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cooler-Master-RS550-ACAAE3-UK-G...

Processor http://www.amazon.co.uk/Intel-Generation-i5-3570K-3-40G...

Motherboard http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-Motherboard-CrossFireX-Int...

RAM http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CMX4GX3M2A1600C9-XMS3-S...

Graphics Card / GPU http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-Nvidia-GeForce-Graphics-Ex...

So you maybe wondering where a Hard Drive is and an Optical Drive is but I already have them, left over from and old computer.

You need a better gfx card for gaming, the 640 GT is not good for it.
For such budget i'd get the i5-3470+h77 motherboard.
That psu isn't good and it's way overpriced.
Does it have to be all in amazon uk ?

I live in the uk, and I dont know of any computer component shops

Do you have a link for that processor and motherboard bundle?

Thanks so much for all the help

Is there room on the Motherboard for another gfx card? Cause I might buy a 1gb now, and then when I get enough, buy another.

You are sooooo helpful

There's for crossfire(not for SLI) but it's not worth it, also what card you're going with ?
1GB card, it doesn't seem like a good one, did you check the 7870 joker card in amazon ?

And then upgrade if needs be.

Yes, it's not a bad card, it depends on the games you'll play and at what resolution, for e.g., BF3 at high settings @1080, that card won't cut it.
This one is decent : http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvn...

Still it's not good for 1080p, the 7850 from amd is the cheapest one that can offer a good experience at that resolution, if it's 720p, then you can get by with a 650 ti maxout.

This is what I would go with.

CrossFire/SLI compatible with dual x8 PCIe slots. 8 core processor (a bit overkill for games but great for other apps including Windows).

Okay, I'm gonna go with what django said. Thanks for your reply though cball, but I will buy a 1gb graphics card, and then later upgrade it when I have enough money.
