I just built my first gaming rig and am working out the kinks. The graphics card I installed was a AMD Radeon HD 7950. Everything in the computer works but its like the graphics card isn't even there. The fans spin, and the monitor is connected to it via HDMI graphics card. I am utterly confused as to how the computer can display everything through the graphics card but not recognize that the graphics card is even there! Please help!

Build:
CPU:Intel i7-3770k 3.5Ghz
Cooling:Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing
MotherBoard:Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP Micro ATX LGA1155
RAM:Kingston Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600
GPU:Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 7950
Power:OCZ 650W ATX12V

It's like the card isn't even there according to the computer. I ran the Windows Experience Index and it gave me a 1.0 for graphics and so i checked and it said all I have is the onboard graphics.
