corrupt graphics

i have installed a nvidia geforce 5700le 256mb card and latest nvidia
drivers, after installing drivers i can play igi2 and other games fine but
after i reboot the games wont run right. after logo screens the graphics
become corrupt ie the whole screen flashes from all red to green to blue,
i've tried altering agp aperture from 256 to 64mb to no avail. if i reinstall
drivers it works again??? can anyone help.

What motherboard have you got? I'd try updating the chipset drivers on
their and the BIOS.

hi paul i'have a msi packard bell motherboard, i've tried what you said i
have installed latest chipset drivers i had already flashed bios a while ago.
neither of these have cured the problem though. i reinstalled nvidia drivers
as well to no avail. looks like i will have to put my old graphics card back
in and launch this one into outer space!! best place for it. unless there
is a cure some where out there? thanks Dave

fx5700le 256mb graphics
nec3500 dvd rw
nec 5800 dvd rom
hyper power psu 425w
what more is there to add? help pleeeze. igi is calling.
