I'm currently running a 965BE at 4ghz and the gtx 460v2 (1gb) sli at 900mhz and it does over 90fps in a 64 player room only at low setting tho
other parts: 8gb ram, 990fx sabertooth, 212+, corsair tx750, samsung 840 250gb ssd,

I don't have a gtx 670 to see if it's cpu bottleneck

Bf3 multiplayer is very much cpu heavy. But an oc 965 should still be above 60fps. The 965 is nearly 4 years old, if you want to get it, get it used, save money.

For the value, the X4 965 is great.

If you live near a Microcenter you could grab a FX-6300 + 970 Extreme 4 = $170.
That's a steal!
