Wireless router for 1 mbps internet connection

Hello,
I have 1 mbps internet connection and I got two computers to be connected. Please suggest the optimum configuration of the router required.

Many routers will likely work fine. Since you say you want wireless, how is your home laid out, and where will the wireless computers be located relative to the router?

The proximity will be within 20 metres. It is a 1000 Square feet plot and the maximum separation between router and the devices will be within 50 feet.

I have had good luck with Netgear N routers.
