Just picked up a Canon EF 28 80 V USM of Ebay very cheap as it was stated it
had a problem with the auto focus. Just curious if anyone knows about known
problems with that model of lens from Canon, and what the likely problem may
be. If it is a case of forking over a few $$$ to get a new drive unit, I
will still be ahead. Hope someone can help. TIA.

Yes I know it isn't the worlds best lens, but I am not the worlds best
photographer and I love to tinker ;-)
