Computer keeps shutting down

Now I posted this the other day in the PSU forum. I upgraded my power supply since believing that that was my problem. Well, during Dragon Age 2, it happened again. The screen goes all multi-colored, there's a buuuuuur sound and the system shuts down (that's the best I can do to describe it). It happens when I play assassins creed also. So one would be inclined to think this is a heat issue but both my cpu, and gpu temps are under 60 while playing the games. Could it maybe be a sound issue? I'm at a loss......

My system is home built. Specs are as follows:
amd ll x2 3500mhz
4 g ram
motherboard biostar ta785g3hd
amd radeon hd 6670
6500watt psu

What are you using to check your temps?

Hwmonitor read my Phenom II temps low by 10C.

speed fan but its saying the same things as amd overdrive

I would see if I could isolate the sound to a component. (PSU, or maybe it's coming out of the speakers etc.)

It is more than likely the PSU.

Is there any other PSU you can try, or can you try your current PSU in another PC?

well, i just put a brand new psu in there to resolve the issue and it didnt.
