Belkin F5D7632-4 NAT Disabled wont connect via windows 7

I have Belkin F5D7632-4 ADSL modem/router and when I disable NAT the router says it has internet connection but windows 7 wont connect. Can anyone tell me why this is? I have tried to do a static IP but that doesn't cure it neither
