About to start my second build and I am wondering what cooler would be the best for a 3570k.
I plan to overclock but only a little bit say .3 ghz.

i will definitely go for the havick , i think its now available around $70~$75 and you can just add more 5 bucks and get a high end twin tower air cooler like the noctua nh-d14.

ok thanks so you wouldn't recommend the performer? where i live they both cost the same price. and the noctua would not fit above my Ripjaws X Ram

anyway the havik is better than the performer , and if you saw this pictures you may change your mind and get the noctua

Getting the CPU OCed to 4.2GHz is pretty dam easy with a hyper 212 evo.
i am in favor of one of these Coolers though
pretty big though
more in favor of this one and adding a second fan on it
