Open on start-up

Hi,

I have a Pioneer CLD-S201 (a low end model, I know) and recently bought
the CLV "Faces" Original Star Wars LDs used. While testing them out,
one disc of Return of the Jedi won't play. It goes from saying
Laserdisc Side-A to Open and that's pretty much the end of that. I have
to turn the player off and back on to get the disc out.

The other discs in the Trilogy work just fine, as do my other LDs, this
is the only one with problems (I tested them right away). Is it the LD
itself and would cleaning it (I've read that Novus#1 can be used for
this) help? Or is it the player (which I would hate since I have my LD
collection...)

Any light you can shed on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Or
even if I could be pointed to a few websites that might help.
