well i bought a powersupply and a gpu. I opened my current computer up and took out my current powersupply. I installed my gpu in my case and i went o turn everything on. nothing happens. my computer turns on but my screen doesnt show anything. when i installed my new powersupply I noticed there was not a four pin plug but there was on my old power supply, and it was plugged into my motherboard beside my cpu. I can answer more questions, im frusterated and scared. if anyone could help me please. or attempt at finding out whats wrong.

The 4-pi n connector is cpu power and it is required. what PSU did you buy? the cpu power connector is a standard feature and your new psu should have one of it was made in the last decade.
