I'm going to build a cheap budget everyday computer. I'm going to be mainly using it for word processing, watching videos, and listening to music while playing minor games. I want it to be fast and efficient and my budget is around $300. I'm looking at the i3-2120 or the amd fx-6300 right now. Any better suggestions would be great. And can you please include the motherboards and types of ram i'll be needing? Thanks!

This is a much better option.
Better CPU and the integrated GPU blows that gt610 out of the water.
This will actually be able to run modern games at low settings or medium settings if the resolution is lowered a bit. The build posted above won't run anything at all as the gt 610 can't do anything besides run powerpoint and HD youtube videos.
