I want to buy a new ultra ata 100 hd but I don't know if my operating system support it (windows 2000 pro).My motherboard is an A7V and I the os can see its ultra ata 100 controler with the proper driver I found after my 1st installation(the win 2000 cd does not have it).I have read some articles about problems with win 2000 and ultra ata 100 disks. What exactly is going on?Can you suggest some models?Thnx!

It should just be a problem with Windows 2000. I'm not aware of any issues with any physical drive and Windows 2000.
