Unfortunatly its applicable to DOS version 5 & 6. Don't know if this works in today's versions. You could get old DOS versions fromyour Windows CD-ROM under "old dos", but again I'm not sure if this will work. Failing all that, you could pay a company which specialises in these problems to do it for you, at a cost though. The Cisco Kid  | Report abuse Ask the community Publish Tom's Hardware>Forum>Storage>Hard Drive Format> Related ressources: ForumHow to repair n format your external hard drive ForumRequests to format hard drive ForumCan't format hard disk drive to ntfs ForumCannot find or format my external hard drive ForumHard Drive Format ForumIs there any way to format my hard drive without losing window xp ForumIs possible to format hard drive without losing files?
