? Any ideas I cant find the file that makes that noise.. I hate windows sounds!!

what OS ?? for win98x you can go to control panel and sounds to disable start and other sounds .. or start|run|msconfig|startup|uncheck the sound there

No its not in msconfig either, I'm running XP...

Check in your Creative start-up folder and click on the Creative EAX button. Then there's an option button for the startup sound somewhere in the small blue box.
