First time build under $950

Hello All,

I'm seeking advice on a build for my brother. His budget is a strict $950. He works in industrial design so the pc will be used for gaming and 3d rendering. Luckily I have a microcenter near me so I am able to get pretty good pricing. This is what I came up with so far:

Don't get that power supply - it's not from a trusted brand. This would be far better: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151096

The Samsung 840 is OK for an SSD - you might want to get a mechanical HD for now and then you can add a good SSD later on.
