I want to take advantage of the free Fry Cry 3 coupon and and will be buying from Newegg. It looks like the 7870 fits the bill, but I'm not sure which brand. Anecdotal evidence aside, are there any compelling reasons to buy one brand over the other? Cooling, noise, warranty, reliability, OC ability, software, etc.. I don't have any brand loyalty.

XFX
Gigabyte
MSI
ASUS
Sapphire

or should I just pick the coolest looking one? Thanks for the help.

Solution
General Rule

Tier 1:
Asus / EVGA

Tier 2:
Gygabyte / MSI

Tier 3:
XFX / Zotac

Tier 4:
Everything Else.

Just find someone who is giving you a 3rd warranty and go from thier.

+$20 for 2 years more warranty is worth every cent.

For the sake of closure, I ordered a Gigabyte 7870 for the following reasons:

1. Already OC'ed to 1100mhz
2. Cooling system got good reviews (very cool and pretty quiet)
3. Had an 8% discount on Newegg
4. Free shipping
5. Listed as tier 2 by cygone
6. 3 year warranty

The Gigabyte had 10x as many reviews as the ASUS and had 5 eggs. In fact, it had the most reviews.
